Racisms Thin Grey Line
I spent the last three minutes listening to a guy on TV repeating the same prediction, black people in North Carolina will vote for Barry Obama. If you are like me you may think his comments were racist. He made judgements about people based on their skin color. These comments were made on a national news progam, there will be no outrage from Al Shapton so we can be certain this type of speach is acceptable.
Just to be sure let’s test it with another prediction about how people will behave. This prediction will also be based on skin color. Try this, the next time you go by a McDonald’s and see a black person in the drive thru line say “I predict that black person in the McDonald’s drive thru will order a fish sandwich and an orange drink”.
Either it’s racism or it isn’t.
Remember what Barry’s wife said, “Ain’t no black people in Iowa.”
Remember what Barry said, “typical white person.”
